The Colloquy of Aelfric5578
Ælfric of Eynsham was an English abbot and writer who lived in the late 10th and early 11th centuries. He was also a teacher and wrote one of the first grammars of Old English. In high school, I wrote a speech for a competition that referenced Ælfric and his it changed the trajectory of my life. Since then, I've used the handle of Aelfric5578 on various online platforms. I thought it would be fun to name this page after one of his most famous works.
These are some articles I've written and want to share about various software development topics. I hope you find them interesting and informative. The colloquy was a series of dialogues. It all begins with a question.

A Programmer's Journey
2019-07-20

It may be a bit too self-indulgent and dripping with nostalgia, but after listening to a bunch of other programmers share their stories, I wanted to get as many of the details written down now, while they're still somewhat fresh. Some of the earlier details are already pretty fuzzy.
